Rick is a seasoned professional with a wide range of experience spanning both the hospitality and real estate industries.

A Maine native, he graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in Economics. Rick spent two years in the Ryder Management Training Program before returning to school for his MBA. He then joined Flagship Properties, a real estate development firm based in Ohio. Rick was instrumental in the development of the Maine Tech Commerce Park and the Black Bear Inn in Orono while working for Flagship. Rick owned and operated multiple hotel properties throughout New England and has been involved in a number of restaurant endeavors.

With a successful tenure as a hotel owner under his belt, Rick’s transition to the realm of real estate proved to be extremely successful. He has thrived for over 30 years as a trusted agent and has been the owner and Designated Broker of NextHome NorthEast Realty since 2016.

Armed with an intricate understanding of the unique complexities of property ownership and transactions, Rick brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to our team. Rick lives in Windham, Maine. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his children.

Dustin is a seasoned veteran in the hospitality industry with over 25 years of experience as a hotel owner and operator across multiple states. With an intuitive understanding of hotel operations coupled with a unique financial ability, he has navigated through various economic climates, ensuring success and profitability in each venture. Renowned for his knack for creative financing solutions, he has successfully orchestrated numerous deals that have propelled properties to new heights.

After selling his last hotel property, his passion for the industry led him to pivot towards real estate, where he now channels his expertise to assist fellow hotel owners in achieving their real estate goals. As he has experienced real estate deals on the ownership side, Dustin takes great pride in doing the right thing for his owner clients, no matter the circumstance. With an unwavering commitment to excellence and a wealth of experience to draw upon, Dustin is an incredibly valuable asset to our team, dedicated to driving success for his clients in every transaction.

Dustin lives in Northern Maine with his wife, Julienne. When not making deals, he enjoys boating and exploring the chain of lakes in his backyard.

With a Bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire and a background in marketing and health care, she brings a strategic vision and innovative approach to our projects. Having spent 8 years operating hotel properties alongside her husband, Dustin, she possesses a deep understanding of the intricacies of hotel operations and guest experience.

Beyond her marketing prowess, Julienne also brings invaluable technical expertise to the table, leveraging her knowledge to implement cutting-edge solutions and drive efficiency in our processes.
